Late Breaking Phase of the HCII 2025 Congress

The late-breaking phase aims to provide an additional opportunity for high quality abstracts to be presented at the Congress. In order to be eligible, an abstract must describe original research with significant impact that could not have been completed by the main abstract call deadline of 24 May 2023. The selection process will be highly competitive. Accepted late-breaking abstracts will be presented during a short scientific session with a maximum of six to ten papers being selected for oral presentation. These sessions will take place in the FEBS Congress Centre during the week of the meeting.

A separate abstract submission is required for each late-breaking paper proposal. The paper should follow the ACM Master Submission Templates, and can include an appendix (up to 10 pages in length). The presenting author will need to check a box during online abstract submission that consents to the submission of the work for display on the Congress website and Congress apps, as well as for inclusion in the “HCII 2025 – Late Breaking Papers” Springer LNCS volumes of the conference proceedings.

The presenting author of each accepted late-breaking abstract is required to register and attend the Congress. In the case of an abstract being accepted for an oral presentation, a full paper will also need to be submitted for consideration to be included in the February 2025 issue of ASTCT’s journal, Transplantation and Cellular Therapy. Please note that if your abstract was not accepted for an oral presentation at the Congress, it will not be considered as a late-breaking abstract for the Tandem Meetings.
